Abdi is the owner of the WLA Dental Center in West Los Angeles, California, where he focuses on comprehensive restorative and esthetic dental care with an emphasis on conservative and interdisciplinary treatment approaches.

He received his dental DDS degree in 1991 from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA.

He is the Founder of the Los Angeles Dental Symposium (est. 2019) and served as the developer and inaugural chairman of the USC International Restorative Dentistry Symposium.

Dr. Sameni served as Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Dentistry at USC from 1998 to 2023 and is also a member of the American College of Dentists, the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society.

He lectures nationally and internationally on interdisciplinary dentistry, biomimetic restorative dentistry, esthetic dentistry, and digital photography in clinical practice.
